Can you copy a broken part?
Often the original helps, but wear or missing sections can make its dimensions unreliable. We may need measurements from mating parts or a drawing before agreeing a replacement.
Can you confirm a material or tolerance from a photo?
A photo is a useful starting point, but it does not establish material grade or precision requirements. These need to be discussed and verified before machining.
